Paul Daniel “Danny” Robison, age 78, of Thompson Township, passed away June 8, 2023, at Geneva Skilled Rehab and Nursing Facility.
He was born Jan. 4, 1945 in Painesville, the son of Paul and Ruth (nee Gerbasi) Robison. He married Carolyn Oakman on Sept. 6, 1974, in Thompson.
A 1963 graduate of Ledgemont High School, Paul served in the Army Reserves.
He was the owner and operator of Paul Robison Farm Equipment.
He was a dedicated firefighter for 58 years and, for a time, had served as the chief of the Thompson Fire Department.
Paul is survived by his wife, Carolyn; son, PJ (Rachel) Robison; daughter, Kim Roth; grandchildren, Jayeson Babic (Melissa), Jonathan (Kathy) Babic, Makenzee and Kenadee Robison; great-grandchildren, Emma, Jackson, Bennett and Jack; cousins, Tom (Mary Jane) Robison, Mary Beth (Ken) Bartlett, Mimi (Don) Humphreys, Paul Eisworth, Father Tom Eisworth. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Thompson Fire Department in his memory.
