CHARDON – Karen F. Marion, age 65, of Chardon, passed away June 7, 2016, at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center.
Born June 10, 1950, in Charleston, W. Va., to Hubert and Margaret (nee Johnson) Stanley, she had been a longtime area resident.
Karen loved cars — racing cars, working on cars, anything with cars.
Her greatest joy was spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren and nephews. Karen also loved her dogs.
She lived life to the fullest each and every day.
Survivors include her children, Marty, of Chardon, and Melissa (Robert) Overstreet, of Chardon; brother, Steve Stanley, of Cleveland; grandchildren, Matthew (Kailee McGee) and Tyler Marion, and Emily Overstreet; sister-in-law, Candy (Brian) Derbin, of Cuyahoga Heights; and nephews, Michael and Jeffrey Derbin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Roger Marion.
Visitation is 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, June 12 at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 13 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Chardon Municipal Cemetery.
