CHARDON – Allan Randal “Randy” Hasson, age 79, of Chardon, passed away June 9, 2016, at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center.
Born Jan. 2, 1937, in Wayne, Ohio, to Paul and Marcia (nee Jones) Hasson, Randy had been a lifelong Northeast Ohio resident.
Randy served in the U.S. Army post Korean War.
After returning home, Randy met and married Patricia Ann Allen, who preceded him in death on Aug. 13, 2015.
He worked for and retired from Lincoln Electric in Euclid.
Randy was an avid and active member of the Ashtabula Antique Engine Club. Survivors include his son, Paul, and grandchildren, Jonathon Paul and Kaylie Marie Hasson, all of Chardon; and sister-in-law, Anna Hasson, of Williamsfield, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia; and brother, Gayle Hasson.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. June 13 at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. June 14 at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Hayes Cemetery, in Williamsfield.
