MIDDLEFIELD – M. Lynn Burton-Nelson, age 63, of Middlefield, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019, at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center.
She was born on Dec. 23, 1955, in Waynesburg, Pa., daughter of Dotson L. and Caryl (nee Hammond) Burton.
She attended Cardinal High School and lived in the Painesville-Willoughby area 20 years, moving to Middlefield in 2002.
Lynn attended Cornerstone Bible Church when she was able.
She was a cashier for Walmart for 12 years.
She was considered an “overcomer” by her family. Her three grandchildren meant the world to her. She loved reading, Sudoku puzzles, and watching John Wayne movies.
Lynn is survived by her loving family, her son Richard (Stacy) Collins, of Middlefield; daughter, Caryl Lynn (Michael) White, of Willowick; three grandchildren, Maddie White, Ronee Collins and Brandon Collins; and three brothers, Dotson Burton, of Southington, Donny (Rosie) Burton, of Parkman Township, and Bob (Jackie) Burton, of Hiram.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son Jimmy.
There will be no funeral services held.
