CHARDON – Carol Ann Leers, age 57, of Chardon, died unexpectedly Jan. 25, 2019, at her home.
Born Sept. 25, 1961, in Euclid, to Donald L. and Helen J. (nee Ulle) Leers, she lived in Colorado, before returning to Ohio.
Carol was a talented jewelry maker and a self-taught artist. For many years she was a Team Leader at Target in Longmont, Colo.
She enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening and spending time with her friends and family.
Survivors include her mother, Helen Leers, of Chardon; siblings, Ada (Michael) Haines, of Chardon, Barb Jackson, of Cleveland, Gary Leers, of Madison, Dona (Larry) Walter, of Auburn, Ellen (Greg) Vickers, of South Russell Villager; and many beloved nieces and nephews, and a great-niece and great-nephews.
Carol leaves her good friend and “work daughter,” Alicia Darlin, of Colorado. She also leaves her fur babies, Mitty and Cleo.
She was preceded in death by her father.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.
