CHESTER TWP. – Michael John Vuckovich, age 74, of Chester Township, died on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018.
He was born in Indiana, Pa., on Oct. 11, 1944, to George and Rose (nee Sudar) Vuckovich.
Michael graduated from Laura Lamar High School, in Homer City, Pa., and Robert Morris Junior College, in Pittsburgh, Pa.
He enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and western movies and riding his Gold Wing trike. He loved listening to Motown music.
Michael was a member the CFU Lodge #274 for 50 years. He was the assistant finance director for the City of Eastlake for 26 years.
Survivors include his wife, Priscilla (nee Deptola), of 47 years; daughters, Christine MacLaren, of Kernersville, N.C., and Melissa (Christopher) Crawford, of Delaware, Ohio; grandchildren, Aidin and Cadie Crawford; sister, Rosemary (Ken) Bradley, of Homer City; and many loved cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister and brother-in-law, Madeline (Frank) Mlakar.
Visitation for family and friends was held Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, from 1-3 p.m., at Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 116 South St., Chardon, with a memorial service following at 3 p.m.
