NEWBURY TWP. – Louis “Judd” Douglas, age 72, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Sept. 23, 2017, at his home.
Born Sept. 1, 1945, in Cleveland, to Louis and Irene (nee Piriczky) Dugovics, he was a long-time resident of Newbury Township.
Judd was an architect, builder and a public servant, serving the Newbury School District for many years.
He enjoyed reading science-fiction books and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.
He is survived by his sons, Jason (Marsha) Douglas and Nate Douglas; grandsons, Michael and Jack Douglas; brothers, Peter and David Dugovics; and sister, Teres Sainte-Marie.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township.
The family suggests donations to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
