HAMBDEN TWP. – Jeanne Carolyn (Prusnick) Koritansky, age 73, of Hambden Township, died Feb. 14, 2017, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born July 19, 1943, in Euclid, to John and Jeanne (nee Klauss) Prusnick, she spent the majority of her life in Northeast Ohio.
Jeanne was an avid gardener, a dedicated member of St. Patrick’s Parish and a devoted wife and mother.
Survivors include her husband, John, whom she married at The Church of St. Mary, in Chardon, in 1967. She also leaves her children, Edith (Patrick) Joyce, of Chardon, Peter (Pamela) Koritansky, of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada; grandchildren, John, Charles and Audrey Joyce, and Matthew, Eva, Joseph and John Koritansky; and sister, Rosemary Bridget Perrin, of Shaker Heights.
Her parents preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends Friday, Feb. 17, from 5-8 p.m., at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18 at St. Patrick’s Parish, 16550 Rock Creek Road, Thompson, with burial to follow at Hambden Cemetery.
