Jill Tracy Taylor (nee Concoby) went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023. At least, we hope she’s with the Lord, but honestly there’s no tellin’.
She was preceded in death by her parents many years ago; and her brother Bob and twin brother Jack fairly recently.
Jill had five children with the same man, and he is still alive, which probably burns her cookies: Debbie, Jennifer, JD, Kim and Megan.
Tim Nolan was like her kid and she’d want me to include him because he might have been the best non-biological son ever. Without him this obit might have been overlooked. Sorry mom.
Jill also has 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
As for her kids, though, up until recently Megan was always her favorite, but JD snuck in over the last few years in a very “Secretariat-esque” type move to take over for 1st favorite . . . so unexpected!
As cute as a button Jill was, she loved cooking and the stirring of a good pot. Talk about pot-stirring, she was also never one to back down from a fight. In fact, she was likely the one to start it and certainly the one to threaten to take us (or anybody, really) right back out of this world because after all, “she brought us in, she’ll take us out.” Well, here we are, so mom not sure what to say about that. Love you, mean it.
If you are reading this obit, then there is a chance that as a Chardon high schooler in the 1980s, at some point you got too lit to drive, but still knew where the blanket closet was in our house on Pine Manor. Our mom was cool with random people staying safe on our floor as they sobered up, which I appreciate.
She worked hard to keep a beautiful home, always decorating, always washing clothes and always planning the next meal.
God speed mom, we hope you aren’t burning the chicken in heaven! Love, All of us.
