Sally J. (nee Willer) Freeble, age 84, of Burton, peacefully passed away on May 8, 2023, at Burton Healthcare Center.
She was born to Harry F. and Edith R. (nee Westover) Willer on Aug. 20, 1938, in Painesville.
Sally was employed at Dr. Tomaro’s office as a dental assistant and later at Geauga Community Hospital as a nurse’s assistant in the ER. She was a graduate of the Florence Nightingale Program in Cleveland. She also took courses to be a paramedic and was a caregiver for her parents.
Her interests were her husband, her cats and her family, all kinds of music and musicals, baseball and football games on TV, and police and crime shows.
Sally leaves behind her daughter, Brenda; son Douglas; granddaughters, Hope (Michael) Gnad, Josephine Freeble, Julia Freeble; great-grandson, Austin Gnad; niece, Harriet Jean (Michael) Melson; nephews, Donald (Lauren) Schabner Jr. and Dean Schabner; and sister-in-law, Dawn (Donald) Schabner.
Her husband, Benjamin F. Freeble III; son Jeffrey Freeble; and sisters, Edith Mae (Willer) Carter and Harriet Willer, preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held June 27, 2023, at 11 a.m., at Old South Church, 9802 Chillicothe Road, Kirtland, followed by interment at the South Kirtland Cemetery.
