HIRAM – Evadelle (nee Leavitt) Robinson, age 86, of Hiram, passed away July 6, 2016, at her residence.
Born May 22, 1930, in Sutton, W. Va., to Virgil and Sarah (nee Lowery) Leavitt, she had been a longtime Chardon Township resident before moving to Hiram eight years ago.
Evadelle was an avid quilter and enjoyed crocheting and making porcelain dolls.
She retired from Picker Corp. after 27 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Len) Bushek, of Hiram; stepsons, William (Theresa) Robinson, of Ashtabula, and Larry Robinson, of West Virginia; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gale Robinson; many siblings; and a grandson and great-grandson.
Visitation is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. July 8 at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. July 9 at the funeral home, with burial to follow at East Claridon Cemetery.
