Janice Mae Auble

CHARDON TWP. – Janice Mae (nee Tromm) Auble, age 79, of Chardon Township, peacefully passed away on Dec. 20, 2021, surrounded by her family.

Born April 23, 1942, to Harry Albert and Gertrude (nee Pritschau) Tromm, in Cleveland, she was a 1960 Chardon graduate.

She worked as a payroll clerk for SnapOut Forms and for Erie Insurance for many years.

Janice married Williard C. Auble on June 2, 1962, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chardon.

She loved shopping with her daughter and going to the movies with friends, and being with her family. She loved cats and collecting owl figurines.

Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandsons.

Janice enjoyed her years at Mapleview Country Villa and appreciated the loving care received during her time there. She enjoyed BINGO and playing cards with her friends. Her daughter Brenda, being a nurse at Mapleview, they both greatly appreciated the time they were able to spend together.

Janice is survived by her husband, Williard C. Auble, of Chardon Township; daughter, Brenda Mae (Gary) Facemyer, of Painesville Township, and son, David Auble, of Ashtabula; grandsons, Eric (Tania) Facemyer, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Ryan and Jeremy Facemyer, of Painesville Township; great-grandaughter, Evelyn Mae Facemyer; sister, Judy (Paul) Beans; brothers Charles “Chuck” (Konnie) Tromm and Richard (Geri) Tromm; sister-in-law, Margie Tromm; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded by her parents; brother Albert Tromm; and nephew Phillip Tromm.

The family will receive friends Dec. 28, 2021, from 9-11 a.m., at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Mary, 401 North Street, Chardon, with interment to follow at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
