Howard Ehrhart

HUNTSBURG TWP. – Howard “Bud” Ehrhart, age 74, lived in Huntsburg Township for many years. He was born April 14, 1947, in Cleveland, to the late Russell and Gwen (nee Shaw) Ehrhart.

He graduated from Cardinal High School.

Bud served 28 years with the U.S. Army, doing two tours in Vietnam.

He married the love of his life, Kathy Swann, on Sept. 14, 1968. They were married 51 years before she passed away March 16, 2020. “They are together again.”

After he retired from the U.S. Army, he was owner and operator of Bud’s Trucking, and then worked for KraftMaid until he retired.

Howard will be sadly missed by his son, Dusty; granddaughter, Megan; grandson, Kyle; brothers, Charlie (Debbie) Ehrhart; sister Joy (Lenny) Clemson; and nieces, nephews and family friend, Clint Fisher.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy; and sister Nancy.

No service will be held at this time. A memorial service will be held on a later date.
