Cheri Coughlin Baldridge, age 54, departed this life May 24, 2016. She was born in 1961, in Cleveland, to Joseph Coughlin and Regina Westfall.
Cheri was formally of Mentor, where she graduated from Mentor High School in 1979. She has been a Geauga County resident since 1988.
Cheri attended Lakeland Community College for engineering and math. She worked as a manufacturing engineer for TT Electronics, formally Apsco, for 32 years.
Cheri was married to Michael Baldridge for 19 years and was a devoted mother to five adopted children, Jonathan Baldridge, Jimmy Baldridge, James Speelman, Meagan Speelman and Hannah Baldridge.
Cheri had two sisters, Andrea (Lee) Dale and Susan (Joseph) Yezzi; and five nieces and nephews, Nicholas Tredanaro, Amanda Lanzalaco, Joshua and Erica Borecky, and Sophia Yezzi.
Cheri was proceeded in death by her parents; grandparents; daughter, Carolyn; and niece Courtney.
Cheri was a devoted Christian and loving wife and mother. She attended Abundant Life Church, in Middlefield, where she was active with the Bible Studies and Youth Group.
She was musically talented, playing various instruments and singing in the choir.
Cheri was a published songwriter and had a wonderful singing voice.
The family will receive friends May 31, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. June 1 at the funeral home.
Private family burial will be held.
Donations suggested to the family for final expenses.
