Mary Ann Bednarski

CLARIDON TWP. – Mary Ann Bednarski (nee Tarnosky), of Claridon Township, was called home by the Lord on Jan. 17, 2021.

Beloved wife of many years of John Bednarski. Loving mother of Lisa (David) Craig, of Chardon. Loving aunt of Leslie (Greg) Kehn, of New York, Steve Tarnosky and Richard (Katie) Tarnosky, of Painesville.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Sylvia (nee Wisniewski) Tarnosky; and brother, Steve (Mary Jane) Tarnosky.

Mary Ann was born in Detroit, Mich., on March 12, 1938, and moved to Fairport Harbor soon after. She graduated from Fairport Harding High School, Class of 1956, and lived in Lake County before moving to Claridon in 1971.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9-10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021, at St. Mary Church, 401 North St., Chardon, with the Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 10 a.m. The Mass will be live-streamed from the St. Mary Parish website, https://youtu.be/fvz7YqiV4V4

Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.

A Celebration of Life for Mary Ann will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation by made in memory of Mary Ann to:

Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate, 285 Panorama Drive, Seven Hills, OH  44131, or  St. Mary Church, 401 North St., Chardon, OH 44024.
