CHARDON – Dennis J. “Denny” Kaselak, age 72, of Chardon, formerly of Auburn Township, passed away on Oct. 10, 2019.
Denny was born on Sept. 3, 1947, in Cleveland, to Joseph and Martha (nee Niedbalski) Kaselak. He graduated in 1965 from Benedictine High School. After graduation, he attended Kent State University and continued on to get a juris doctorate from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
On Nov. 22, 1969, he married Elizabeth Reilly at St. Clare’s Church in Lyndhurst.
Denny’s hobbies included sailing, cooking, photography and gardening. He was an avid reader and had great taste in music. Above all, Denny cherished time spent with his friends and family.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; children, Scot (Shasta) Kaselak, of Chagrin Falls, Christopher (Leah), of Asheville, N.C., Joseph Kaselak, of Asheville, N.C., Peter (Jenny), of Chapel Hill, N.C., and Elizabeth Kaselak, of Chardon; grandchildren, Harrison, Hugh, Ivy, Violet, Lily, Joseph, Samuel, Henry, William, Georgia and an expected blessing coming soon; and sister, Shirley Tancak.
Denny was preceded in death by his parents.
Family will accept friends from 1-4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019, at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon, with a memorial service immediately following.
