Judith Mary Clark

CHARDON – Judith Mary Clark, a longtime resident of the Chardon, died Tuesday the 30th of April at Chambersburg Hospital in Pennsylvania, after an illness with multiple myeloma. She was 86 years old.

Born in 1933 in Cleveland, to Enos Erb Fry and Mary Agnes (nee Finnegan) Fry.

Judy joined the Air Force in 1952 for a three-year tour, where she was some of the first women to be trained as Aircraft & Warning Systems Operator for the Air Force.

She married Bruce Clark (deceased) to which they had two sons, Eric (deceased) and Derek.

In 1987, she got a job as a Circuit Clerk with the Geauga County Library, where she rose through the positions to be a Computer Systems Administrator in 1997 until her retirement.

Judy loved good food and socializing, enjoyed going to movies and plays games with her family and friends. She had a wonderful smile that could light up a room and was quick with a joke.

Judy is survived by her brother, John Fry; son Derek Clark; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth (Clawson) Clark. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Kayla, Jimmy and Lily, and four great-grandchildren, Jesse, Mason, Colton and Easton, all whom brought great joy to her later years.
