MIDDLEFIELD – Jacqueline Prince Phillips, age 75, of Middlefield, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2019, at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center in Claridon Township.
She was born in Chardon, on June 17, 1943, to Robert and Marion June (nee McDonald) Prince, and was a graduate of Chardon High School, Class of 1961. She had lived in Chardon, Washington, D.C., Chagrin Falls and Middlefield.
On Nov. 27, 1976, Jacqueline married William Phillips in the oldest chapel on Andrews Air Force Base, Washington, D.C. She had been a secretary to both U.S. Reps. Frances Payne Bolton and Oliver Payne Bolton, and had also worked for Chardon Savings Bank, Charter One Bank and for Hixson Florist.
Survivors include her husband, William, of Middlefield; daughters, Jill (Bernhard) Medina, of Fredericksburg, Va., and Jann Boose, of Greenville, Tenn; sons, Erik Wagner, of Akron, and Michael (Christina) Phillips, of Smyrna, Ga.; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sister, Karen Eck, of Cincinnati; and brother, Brad (Sheila), of Chardon.
She was predeceased by grandson Tristan Medina.
Private family services have been held.
