Nancy Wengerd

MIDDLEFIELD – Nancy Wengerd (nee Mast), 92, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, Nov. 13, 2018, at home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Parkman Township on Jan. 9, 1926, to the late Jacob S. and Mattie C. (nee Detweiler) Mast.

Nancy is once again reunited with her loving husband, Dan N. Wengerd, who died in June 2010.

She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

She will be missed by her loving children, Marvin (Lydiann) Wengerd, Martha (Raymond) Yoder, Betty (Joe) Shrock, Emma (Sam) Fisher, Edna (John) Mullet, Noah (Ada) Wengerd, Owen (Martha) Wengerd, Barbara Byler, Esther (Aden) Byler, Daniel (Wilma) Wengerd, Raymond (Susan) Wengerd, David (Saranne) Wengerd, Nancy (John) Gingerich, Allen (Sylvia) Wengerd; brother Noah Mast; 107 grandchildren; 309 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dan N.; an infant daughter; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Daniel Byler; two brothers; and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at 16163 Newcomb Road, Middlefield, with Bishop Pete Hostetler officiating.

Pallbearers will be Roy Yoder, Dan Shrock, Mahlon Slabaugh and Joe S. Miller.

Nancy’s final resting place will be in Miller Cemetery in Huntsburg Township.

Visitation will be anytime until the time of service.
