MIDDLEFIELD – Patricia A. (nee Hughes) Nichols, 75, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018.
She was born Oct. 28, 1942, in Gilpin Township, Pa., to the late David and Mabel (nee Forney) Hughes. She graduated from Leechburg High School in 1960.
Patricia enjoyed crafts, needlepoint, and spending time with her family.
She will be sadly missed by her sons, Colonel Rodney (Lisa) Nichols and Eric Nichols; siblings Janet Bearger, Jean Dezzutti and Richard Hughes; and grandchildren, Victoria Cooper, Matthew Nichols and Amanda Nichols.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis, who died Jan. 20, 2008; brother David Hughes Jr.; and sister Katherine Coulter.
Calling hours are Oct. 26, 2018, from 5-8 p.m., at Russell-Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High St., Middlefield.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Oct. 27 at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Continenza officiating.
