NEWBURY TWP. – Robert “Bob” A. Jefferson, age 50, of Newbury Township, died Oct. 14, 2017, at Hospice House, Cleveland.
Born Dec. 3, 1966, in Cleveland, to Harland and Mary (nee Taylor) Jefferson, he has been a lifelong area resident.
Bob was an avid fisherman and liked watching drag racing and NASCAR. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
He was a long-time employee of Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin, in the maintenance department and school bus driver.
He is survived by his daughter, Caitlin Rose, of Newbury; granddaughter, Carmen; parents; siblings, Allan D. (Jeanne) Jefferson, of Chester Township, Jennifer (Andy) Matlack, of Parkman Township, and Mary Beth (Rich) Lombardo, of Aurora; and nephews, Robert “RJ,” Ethan and Kaden, and Tony and Vincent.
The family will receive friends Oct. 18, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon, followed by an 8 p.m. funeral service.
Private family burial will be held at Munn Cemetery, Newbury.
