TROY TWP. – Daniel Ray Glick, 72, long-time resident of Troy Township, passed away Monday, Sept. 25, 2017, at his home with his family by his side.
He was born Oct. 14, 1944, in Topeka, Ind., son of the late Milo and Elva (nee Mullet) Glick.
Daniel married Betty Slabaugh on Oct. 25, 1973, and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
His heart was in farming.
He enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Daniel is survived by his beloved wife Betty, of 43 years; seven children, Miriam (Aden) Miller, Laura (Andy) Miller, Marvin (Linda) Glick, Anna Marie (Matthew) Hershberger, Mary (Lester) Miller, Sylvia (Reuben) Yoder and Viola Glick; and 33 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a baby; and four grandchildren.
The funeral service will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 15070 Nash Road in Troy. Calling hours will be at 15099 Nash Road until the day of the service.
Burial will be at Sugar Loaf Cemetery in Troy.
