HAMBDEN TWP. – Jamie Marie Pertz, 37, of Hambden Township, lost her battle with drug addiction and diabetes Friday morning, March 3, 2017, at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township.
She was born in Mayfield Heights, on July 2, 1979, to Frank E. and Mary E. (nee Szabo) Pertz. Her journey for the past 20 years was a life of struggles, heartbreak and continued pain.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Taylor Corrigan and Lexie Corrigan; parents, Frank and Mary Pertz; brother, Jason Pertz; grandson, Greyson; niece, Sienna; aunts, Pat (Szabo) Silk and Theresa (Szabo) Jackson; uncle, Jerry Pertz; and many friends.
Jamie’s message to her girls and young kids was always, “please never start on this road because it will never stop destroying your life. Believe it!”
Through all the struggles and pain our love and devotion never ceased. God Bless you, our baby girl, and fly with the angels.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
