Linda M. Ruple (nee Berglund), age 63, beloved partner of Jeff; loving mother of Chad, Kristina, Matthew (wife, Skiy), Kourtney and Brittany; survived by her loving former husband, Randy; devoted grandmother of eight; cherished daughter of the late Franz and Eleanor (nee Snyder); dearest sister of Nils Berglund, Carol Breininger (husband, William) and the late Carl Berglund; dear aunt of many.
Linda was born on Jan. 27, 1953, in Akron. She passed away on Dec. 13, 2016.
Linda grew up in Euclid, where she graduated from Euclid High School in 1971. She spent most of her years raising her five children in Geauga County.
Linda worked as an optical lab technician for nearly 20 years, finishing her career at Bell Optical.
Linda was a diehard Cleveland sports fan. She loved watching the Browns, Indians and Cavs play.
She devoted her entire life to her family.
Linda was energetic, funny, a great dancer, passionate, selfless, optimistic and full of life. She loved music, movies, sight-seeing, bowling, spending time with her friends, and learning new things.
Linda had a heart of gold and will be dearly missed.
