CHARDON – Margaret (nee Timms) Dewey, of Chardon, died Nov. 30, 2015, at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center. She was 90.
Born June 23, 1925, in Kirtland, to Arthur and Goldie (nee Miller) Timms, she has been a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Dewey was in quality control at the former Picker X-Ray, retiring after many years of service.
She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed gardening, doing word seek and traveling.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son Lee (Karen) Dewey, of Burton Township; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased in death by her parents; on Eugene “Pete” Dewey; and two brothers and one sister.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Dec. 6 at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
