CHARDON – Alice M. (nee Kruse) Medina, age 87, of Chardon, passed away and joined her loving husband, Bing, on Nov. 15, 2016.
Born Nov. 30, 1928, in Cleveland, to Vincent and Mary (nee Sochor) Kruse, she had been a longtime area resident.
A homemaker, Alice enjoyed bowling, golfing, bingo, reading and her crossword puzzles.
She crocheted extensively making cherished gifts for her family.
Her favorite past times revolved around her home and creating a loving gathering place for her large family.
Survivors include her daughters, Judy Toth, of Munson Township, Kathie (Mick) Narusch, of Shelby Township, Mich., Debbie DeWeese, of Burton, and Gail (John) Park, of Claridon Township; sister-in-law, Lucille Medina, of Chardon; and 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren, all precious to their grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband of 69 years, Domingo “Bing” Medina.
A memorial gathering will held from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 12060 Kinsman Road, Newbury Township, with a funeral mass following at 10 a.m. at the church.
Burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Munson.
