Wayne Gould, 77, passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024, peacefully in the comfort of his own home, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter and leadership.

Known for his brilliant career in real estate, Wayne was a trusted leader and mentor, guiding countless individuals with his wisdom and vision.

Wayne was born April 8, 1947, to Frieda and Robert Gould. He grew up in Euclid and graduated from Euclid High School in 1965.

He was a proud and dedicated veteran who served in the Navy until 1969. He carried immense pride in his service to his country and often expressed heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support and kindness shown to him by the veteran organizations throughout his life. His service was not only a duty but an honor he cherished deeply.

Wayne had a unique gift for finding joy in life’s simplest pleasures — always armed with a good joke, a love for desserts and an even greater passion for a good deal. His sharp wit and warm presence made him the life of any room, while his generous spirit and tireless work ethic earned him admiration both professionally and personally.

He was a devoted husband to his adoring wife, Sue “Suzabella” (nee Griffee) Gould. A loving father to Scott (Jamie) and Cindy (Rohr). A grandfather to Ashley (Dan), Charlie (Lindsey) and Layla. A beloved “Papa” to Caleb, Teddy and Charli Mae. As well as a brother to Janet (Roy), brother-in-law to Charles (Rosemary, deceased) and Frank (deceased).

Wayne’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those he cherished most. Including his dogs, Frieda and Thelma.

Wayne’s life was a testament to the power of hard work, humor and kindness. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by his family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of Wayne’s life will be held at a later date, likely on his deck where he admired his pond.

May his memory continue to bring smiles, just as he did every day of his remarkable life.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Burr Funeral Home in Chardon. Information and condolences online at www.burrservice.com.
