Brandi was a Rescue Village Ambassador. She was born Aug. 1, 2006, and passed away Oct. 8, 2024.
Brandi visited elementary schools teaching children all about dogs. She spent two weeks at Rescue Village’s summer camp with children of families who were suffering from cancer. The children were “teaching” the dogs obedience and how to run the obstacle course.
She was a member of Therapy Dogs International and a Hillcrest Hospital Volunteer. She worked there 13 years, visiting patients of all kinds. She attended funerals of friends she visited regularly. For this Brandi received AKC’s Blue Ribbon of Remarkable Volunteer Achievement award. The AKC also awarded her “Canine good Citizen.”
She will be terribly missed.
