Sara M. Cramer

MIDDLEFIELD – Sara “Sally” M. (nee Bronson) Cramer, age 84, of Middlefield, passed away peacefully after a brief battle with lung cancer on Oct. 1, 2016, at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center.

She was born July 6, 1932, in Washington County, Pa., daughter of the late Theodore and Prena Bronson.

She married William “Bill” R. Cramer on Nov. 27, 1950, in Greensburg, Pa. They were married 63 years and were residents of Middlefield for over 50 years.

Sara had an associate’s degree in early childhood education and was a former teacher at Lakeland Community College Teaching and Learning Center.

She was a member of the St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, in Mayfield Village.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

She enjoyed scenic drives to Lake Erie, swimming and Bible Study, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Sara “Sally” will be missed dearly by her friends and family, including her children, Bob (Sharon) Cramer, Carol (Andy) Holloman, Sue (Jay) Becker and Brenda (Paul) Wolff; 11 grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren.

Her parents and husband, Bill Cramer, preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Burial will be at East Claridon Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, 435 SOM Center Road, Mayfield Village, OH 44143, or to the Geauga County Department on Aging, 12555 Ravenwood Drive, Chardon, OH 44024.
