CHESTER TWP. – William E. Zoller, age 90, of Chester Township, passed away Sept. 25, 2016, at his home.
Born Jan. 14, 1926, in Cleveland, to John H. and Grace (nee Dunn) Zoller, he had been a longtime area resident.
Bill served with the U.S. Army Air Corps, stationed in Germany during World War II. Upon returning home, Bill attended Case Institute of Technology, where he earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
William married Felicia Podway, on Aug. 14, 1952, in Garfield Heights. She preceded him in death on Feb. 19, 1990.
Bill’s favorite past time was golfing at Fowler’s Mill and Punderson, but enjoyed playing other area courses as well.
Survivors include his children Mark (Rhonda), of Hernando, Miss., June Marie (Markus) Kastenholz, of Charleston, S.C., Karl (Holly), of Summerville, S.C., and Chris, of Munson Township; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Felicia; son Paul; and brothers, John, Robert and Richard.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Sept. 30 at Saint Anselm Catholic Church, 12969 Chillicothe Road, Chesterland, with burial to follow at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
