Rose Lynn Oswald-Charvat, age 82, of Little River, S.C., formerly of Huntsburg Township, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, July 16, 2023, after a brief illness.
She was the wife of the late Junior Painter, Andrew Oswald Jr. and Dennis Charvat.
Lynn was born on Oct. 6, 1940, in Cleveland, to the late Edward and Rose Cigoi.
She was truly cherished by her sister, Margaret (Raymond) Hocevar; brother, Edward (Patricia) Cigoi; step-children, Nancy (Dr. Robert) Sander, Judi (Ron) Wagner, Denise Sweet (dec’d), Debbie Eschweiler, Doreen Balata (dec’d) and Dennis L. (Diane) Charvat; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two nieces and three nephews; and three great-nieces and four great-nephews.
Lynn worked for Culligan Water Conditioning, as a dispatcher for Bedford Police Department and an executive secretary for the athletic director at Bedford High School.
