PORT RICHEY, FL – Helen Semon, age 96, of Port Richey, Fla., passed away Aug. 27, 2016, at Marliere Hospice Care Center in Port Richey.
Born Jan. 20, 1920, in Cleveland, to Lewis and Emma (nee Revaj) Varady, she had been a longtime Macedonia resident before moving to Florida in the mid 1980s.
Helen was an inspector for General Motors, retiring after 32 years.
She was the loving wife of Joseph Semon (deceased); cherished mother of Kenneth Semon (deceased) and Ron (Bea) Semon, of Mantua; beloved grandmother of Pauline, Corey, Jeremy, Kristie, Joe, Carol and Laura; great-grandmother of Codey, Karli, Ryan, Kendall, Preston, Addison and Emma; and caring sister of Eugene and George Varady, Irene Gregory and Marianne Nemcik (all deceased).
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Sept. 1 at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
