Ann Marie Cervenka, 58, of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022.
She was born Feb. 7, 1964, in Warren, to George and Marilyn (nee Krauss) Cervenka Sr.
She was a proud graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.
Ann loved her job working as a teacher for special needs students, working in the Parma School District for most of her career.
She enjoyed gardening, score keeping for the Geauga County Special Olympics and spending time with her family, whether it was grilling out or watching her favorites: the Browns, Indians and OSU football.
Ann will forever be missed and never forgotten for her kind-hearted, generous disposition, as well as her infectious laughter, which was contagious.
Ann will be deeply missed by her beloved mother, Marilyn; siblings, George (Kelly) Cervenka Jr. and Susan Cervenka; nieces, Eve and Mia; beloved kitty, Digger; and many dear friends and family members.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Sr.
Please join the family for a memorial visitation on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022, from 2-4 p.m., to celebrate Ann’s life at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville.
A memorial service will begin at the funeral home at 4 p.m.
