Jacob Douglas Seredich, 24, passed away peacefully in his family’s home on Friday, March 4, 2022.
Born Tuesday, April 22, 1997 in Cleveland, Jacob was the first born child and cherished son of Douglas G. Seredich Jr. and Victoria (nee Brown) Seredich, and the adored big brother of Sidnee L. Seredich.
Jacob was a lifelong resident of Chardon.
He is survived by his parents and sister, as well as Uncle James H. Brown II, Aunt Rebecca Brown, cousins Erin and Jim (Brown), grandmother Barbara Seredich and Uncle Nick Seredich.
Jacob was preceded in death by his beloved “Bana and Papa,” James H. Brown and Lenore V. Brown, and his Grandfather Douglas G. Seredich Sr.
A 2015 graduate of Chardon High School, Jacob was beginning his career as a tool and die maker, following in the footsteps of both his father and grandfather.
Jacob was an animal lover, in particular his dog (and all around best boy) Chop. He was a car enthusiast, a love that grew working alongside his Papa at a young age. He enjoyed playing video games with his sister. He was a gifted ATV rider, spending time with his family and his lifelong friends.
Jacob found great joy and purpose in giving back, he was a source of light and encouragement to those in need, always there to lend a helping hand or offer a kind word.
Please join us in remembering a beautiful life lost far too soon. The celebration of Jacob’s life will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022, between 5-8 p.m., at the Potti & Marc F. Burr Funeral Homes of Chardon, 126 South St., Chardon (located within DeJohn Funeral Home).
