Gerald F. Brunner, age 93, passed away Nov. 10, 2021, at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 18, 1928, in Erie, Pa., to Frank and Alice Brunner.
Gerald worked for Caterpillar in Mentor until 1984. He enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors that included hunting, and fishing and boating on Lake Erie. He also enjoyed cabinet making.
Gerald leaves behind children, Connie (Dan) Johnson, Thomas R. Knauss, Kathleen (James) Samarin; grandchildren, Kelly Samarin and James Samarin, Young Gallo, Matt Johnson; seven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; his parents; grandson Mark; and sister, Janice Thompson.
No services will take place at this time.
