Judith Ann Ruggerio (nee Woodford), age 73, passed away Oct. 26, 2021, in Youngstown.
Born in Cleveland on Dec. 30, 1947, to Kenneth and Thelma Woodford, and then moved to the Girard area in 1948, where she was raised and lived there until she married her husband, Donald Ruggerio, in August 1968.
For 35 years, Judy was an auditor for United Health Care.
After Donald’s retirement from GM Lordstown, they moved to Put-In-Bay, where they lived. They were married 50 years until his passing in May 2019. She then moved back to Girard.
Judy loved quilting, sewing, her many dogs and cats and mostly loved Lake Erie.
She is survived by her sisters, Linda (Bill) McKernan, Debbie Radek and Lori (Jeff) Cramer; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
A Celebration of Judy’s Life will be held at a later date.
