NEWBURY TWP. – John R. Hart, age 72, died July 1, 2021, in Newbury Township. He was born June 10, 1949, to Clarence and Winifred Hart in Barberton, Ohio.
Stationed in Vietnam, John proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
John is survived by his step-children Joseph Hruska, of Middlefield, Lori Wetzel, of Newbury, and Dawn (Donald) Sinkovec; brother Ronald Hart, of Cleveland; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded by his parents; first wife, Donna; second wife, Marie; son, John Raymond Jr.; step-son Robert Hruska; brother Clarence; and sister, Shirley.
John was an avid hunter and loved fishing.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2021, beginning at 2 p.m., at Newbury Center Cemetery.
