William A. Lang

CHARDON TWP. – William A. “Bill” Lang, age 77, of Chardon Township, died March 10, 2021, at Chardon Healthcare Center.

Born May 27, 1943, to Albert and Jeanne (nee Smith) Lang in East Cleveland, he was a lifelong Chardon resident.

Bill was a successful business owner in Chardon — Lang Distributors — for 35 years. He served on the Ford Motor Company, OEM Parts Advisory Board.

Bill’s pride and joy was his 1957 T-Bird, showing it off at several Antique Car Shows. He also belonged to a T-Bird Club.

Survivors include his children, William Todd Lang, of Chardon Township, Deanna (Bryan) Sicking, of Cincinnati, and Victoria (Matthew) Robinson, of Denver, Colo.; grandchildren, Meredith, Natalie, Chase and Charlotte; brothers James (Donna) Lang and Thomas (Christine) Lang, both of Marco Island, Fla.; sister-in-law, Marion Lang, of Concord Township; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother Albert Jr.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 15, 2021, from 11 a.m. t 1 p.m., with the funeral service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Private family burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery.

The family requests donations to Geauga County Department on Aging, 12555 Ravenwood Drive, Chardon, OH 44024 or Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
