CHARDON – Zechariah Moses Veon, age 14, of Chardon, passed away unexpectedly at his home, Friday afternoon, July 3, 2020. He was born in Willard, Ohio, on March 28, 2006, to David N. and Danielle (nee Livingston) Veon.
He was a true Hilltopper who was always around to help others. His smile and laughter will be deeply missed.
Zechariah loved playing on Chardon’s football, baseball, and wrestling teams. He also was a member of the choir and robotics team. When not involved in school activities, Zechariah enjoyed relaxing and going fishing.
He will be greatly missed by his loving parents, Dave and Danielle Veon; brother, Charlie Veon; sisters, Izabella Veon and Rebeka Veon; paternal grandmother, Billie (Bruce Johnson) Veon; maternal grandparents, Charles and Donna Livingston; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Zechariah is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Veon; and an infant brother.
Friends and family will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4-6 p.m ., Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at Best Funeral Home, 15809 Madison Road, Middlefield.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the funeral home.
Zechariah’s final resting place will be in Huntsburg Cemetery, Huntsburg Township.
